APUSH/CHS Final Countdown 

May 18th to June 7th

Rationale:  This is the final leg of our study of United States History. For some of you this may be the last American history course you ever take. In an attempt to cover years following World War II up to the election of Ronald Reagan, I have planned the following program: 

#1 Each student is required to select a topic for a  individual focused study. This will require you to become an expert on that specific topic and articulate your understanding of the content during a small group Google Meet discussion.  Topic choices are first come, first serve. Up to four students are eligible  for each select topics.  Please select your topic by entering your name in the in 1945 to 1985 Google Sheet ASAP.

#2 Each student will be required to submit a summary of their select topic in a Google Doc (25 Points). Specific expectations for your topic summary will be posted 5/19/2020

#3  There will be FOUR GOOGLE MEETS to discuss the content covered from May 25th to June 4th . Each meet will focus on specific topics. You will be assigned to a Google Meet discussion based on the select focused study you chose. Your participation in the Google Meet with be graded on a 15 point scale (Rubric to be posted). Please contact me as as possible if you have any issues with your designated Google Meet.

Google Meet #3      Topics #11-15        Tuesday, June 2nd 4:00 pm

#4 The audio of each Google Meet will be posted. You are expected to listen to audio versions of the Google Meet and offer your evaluation of participant contributions. You will be expected to post your evaluation in the designated /posted Google Form (15 Points each) by the assigned due date.

#5 I will post as Castle Learning Test each week on the content covered.  Each on line test is required. If you do not complete the online test a zero will be entered in the grade book. The tests will be between 50 and 60 multiple choice questions and are designed to boost your grade.
