25 percent unemployment means about 13 million people are out of work! Michigan Stadium (above) holds about 100,000 people. Imagine after this game on Saturday it is announced that every single person in the stadium is unemployed, and will be unemployed for the next 4 years. Imagine if you continue this process for 2 1/2 years....every saturday the stadium is packed, every saturday 100,00 people leave stadium with no job, no source of income, and wont find another one for a good 3-4 years!!

Unemployment in America went from 1.5 million in 1929 to 12.8 million in 1933. Around 25% of the workforce was unemployed.
